Like many people, you might not know that if you’re in an accident with another vehicle and it’s not your fault, you may have the right to an accident replacement car with the costs covered by the at fault party.

If you qualify for a vehicle with Right2Drive, you will not be liable for the rental costs provided you assist us in the recovery of costs from the at fault party or their insurer.

Under our agreement with you, you will not be liable for the rental costs provided you are not at fault, you assist us in recovery of those costs from the at fault driver or their insurer and otherwise act in accordance with the terms and conditions of our agreement.

If we require your assistance in recovering the rental costs, this may include you having to provide documents, witness statements, and in some cases, appearing in court as a witness in proceedings we commence in your name.

Provided you are not at fault, fulfil your obligations and otherwise act in accordance with the terms and conditions of our agreement, we will not hold you liable for the loan car costs, even if the insurers come to a different decision later on.

If the at fault party doesn’t pay the invoice, we may commence legal proceedings in your name against the insurer. If this happens, we may require your assistance, such as providing us with a statement and in some instances attending court as a witness. Please note, over 98% of our customers are not required to attend court.
