The Main Questions We’re Asked When It Comes To Accident Loan Cars

Question: Am I entitled to an accident loan car?

You shouldn’t have to be inconvenienced due to someone else’s negligence which is why if you are not at-fault in a car accident and more than one car is involved, you may be entitled to an accident loan car with the costs covered by the at-fault party’s insurer. To get an accident loan car from Right2Drive, you need to be not at-fault in the car accident, the at-fault party needs to have Third Party Property or Comprehensive Insurance..

Question: Who pays for the accident loan car?

As mentioned above, the costs of the accident loan car are to be recovered by the at-fault party’s insurance company. At Right2Drive, we recover the costs of the accident loan car from the at-fault insurer on our customers’ behalf. This means our customers will not be liable for the rental costs provided they assist in us in the recovery process and act in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Question: Will the car I receive be the same type as mine?

At Right2Drive, we strive to provide our customers with a loan car that is similar to their own, which is why we have a broad range of vehicles in our fleet.

Question: Is there insurance on the loan car?

Yes – all of our vehicles are comprehensively insured. We also provide a zero-insurance excess which gives our customers peace of mind while driving our cars. The zero-insurance excess means that if you have an accident in one of our vehicles, provided you have abided by our terms & conditions, you won’t be stung with a high excess payment which can occur when renting a car from other companies.

If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation of being involved in an accident in one of our vehicles, we ask that you obtain the other party’s details and contact us immediately on 1300 100 121.
