Frequently Asked Questions

Who pays for the loan car?
Once your car has been repaired or you have been notified it is a total loss, we will invoice the at-fault party for payment of the loan car on your behalf.
What happens if the at-fault party doesn’t pay?
If the at-fault insurer doesn’t pay the invoice we may commence legal proceedings in your name against the insurer. If this happens we may require your assistance, such as providing us with a statement and in some instances attending court as a witness. Please note, over 98% of our customers are not required to attend court.
Will you be stuck with the costs of the loan car?
Provided you are not at-fault, fulfil your obligations and otherwise act in accordance with the terms and conditions of our agreement, we will not hold you liable for the loan car costs, even if the insurers come to a different decision later on.
